Hello, and welcome back to Fantasy NYC Subway! We have good news: It's only a week until the new (T) line extension opens! The R301s have come into service well, and we are looking to publish the planned service assignments in a week or so.
Long term, phase 2 of the Rockaway track replacement project is in progress! There is no service on the (M) south of Jamaica Avenue - Woodhaven Blvd and no (A) service south of Rockaway Blvd. Free Q57 shuttle buses run from Jamaica Avenue - Woodhaven Blvd to Beach 90th Street. Rockaway Shuttle trains run from Rockaway Park - Beach 116th Street to Far Rockaway - Cornaga Avenue via the Hammels Wye.
Free shuttle buses run on two routes:
Q57, running from Jamaica Avenue - Woodhaven Blvd to Beach 90th Street, making all (M) train stops except Howard Beach - JFK. There will also be an extra stop at Cross Bay Blvd (3).
Q58, running nonstop from Rockaway Blvd (A) (T) Q57 to Howard Beach - JFK (3).
This change will be in effect until June 6th, 2070. From there, we will have a week of normal service before beginning phase three.
In addition, the rebuild of 90th Street - Elmhurst Avenue is complete on the Manhattan-bound side. The Bell Blvd-bound side is now closed until Monday, June 9th, 2070. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by any of these. But you can look forward to a better subway! All closed (A) and (M) stations have and will receive minor renovations such as deep cleanings
and new light bulbs. We hope you enjoy these new and improved stations.
This weekend, (4) train service is suspended south of Crown Heights - Utica Avenue due to track work. Free shuttle buses run from Crown Heights - Utica Avenue (3) (4) to Avenue V (2), making all (4) train stops.
(O) train service is suspended north of 86th Street - East End Avenue. (O) Shuttle train service runs from Dyre Avenue to Hunts Point Avenue, making all (O) train stops. Bx21 shuttle buses make all (O) train stops from Hunts Point Avenue to Randalls - Wards Islands and then stopping at Astoria Blvd (R) before going to 55th Street (T) (O) (V) (Z) (E) (F) (4) (5) (6) (8). We are sorry for any inconvenience.
